CLEAN WATER IMPACT

Mexico | Nicaragua | Nepal | Indonesia | Philippines

Together with our amazing community we have provided over 1.5 Million days of clean water to our friends around the world in need. As every regions water situation being unique we must treat each environment as such. We work with a variety of filtration systems and solutions and in 2019 will be campaigning to provide 1 Million days of clean water in Cebu, Philippines. Click her to find out more.

YUCATAN, MEXICO

The Yucatan jungles in Mexico are home to remote Mayan communities that do not receive government aid and source contaminated ground water as their region is famous for having. We were able to educate and install the communities there on how to maintain and use a silver line ceramic filter that will keep their families safe. The natural underground water systems of the Yucatan are one of the most unique in the world but with only 1/3 of the Yucatan peninsula using waste water treatment systems many impurities and contaminants are able to spread fast.

DIRIAMBA, NICARAGUA

Nicaragua is the largest and poorest country in Central America. With over one-third of the country without access to clean water and indoor plumbing, the people of Diriamba need aid in alleviating the water stress. Nicaragua has many sources of water although over 90% of the municipalities suffer from contamination. Through the installation of bio-sand filters in the homes of the Diriamba citizens, we are able to provide a sustainable clean water solution for a family of up to 10 with each filter. By providing a sustainable clean water solution we are able to improve the lives of entire communities. More than just improving the health of these citizens, benefits extend to the classroom, psychological, fitness, and economic growth for generations to come.

Diriamba is located 35 kilometers south of Nicaragua's capital of Managua. With a population of 60,000 people living on highlands, these lands are becoming more and more high-stress water areas.

LANGTANG VALLEY VILLAGE, NEPAL

In April 2015 a devastating earthquake killed nearly 9,000 and injured more than 22,000 people in Nepal. Our friends in the Langtang Valley Village were unfortunate in their losses, losing almost half of their population.

So we decided to step in! We hosted a fundraiser at IMAGE Gallery NYC bringing together New York Cities art community for a night of giving back. Through our efforts, we were able to aid the rebuilding of the village's infrastructure and deliver food and water to help get our friends back on their feet.

BALI, INDONESIA

In 2018 Indonesia has been hit with a series of natural disasters, including a 7.5 magnitude earthquake. With limited resources and no time to recover their citizens were left to rebuild the lives and homes they’ve lost. Alongside our partners Social Impakt we were able to aid the citizens of Sidemen by providing ceramic filters with .4 micropores into the homes and 2 elementary schools. Around 400 students now have safe clean water with reported increased attendance rates from students and educational growth. This beautiful country in the Pacific is located in the ring of fire making future natural disasters almost certain. With this in mind and much rebuilding to do, we will continue our projects into 2019.

CEBU, PHILIPPINES

2019 began our partnership with Clean Water International and our mission to provide sustainable clean water solutions to communities in Cebu, Philippines. These communities are far from the capital of Manila and receive very little government assistance. This leaves 2 options for sourcing water; purchasing plastic bottles which many can not afford or using contaminated ground water. Since 2019 we have provided 365,000 days of clean water to the citizens of Toledo City by installing in-home biosand filters. We are continuing these efforts as of 2020 and are currently fundraising to provide the local school with a filtration system that will service 400 students and the surrounding community. Please consider donating to help us to complete our impact goal.
